SOCIAL PROGRAMS

1. Saathi Samaaj Utthaan Welfare Society is workingtowards betterment of poor and helpless people. Every year it gives donation to atleast Five poor children for theirEducational Studies and Livelihood.

2. ItPlans to care the Old aged people and Widows of poor families.

 3. Italso plans to help the poor peasants and workers who lost their Land and homesdue to Flood and Earthqaukes.

 4. Itmakes films on themes of Social reformations and development in the Society. ‘Yaad Teri Aige’ – a famous Feature Filmof Uttarakhand has done a great job in educating the youngsters ofUttarakhand. This film was written andDirected by Rajender Bisht, (who is also the Director of Janambhoomi Kala Kendra – the cultural Unit of SAATHI.

5. Itorganizes free health check-up Camps and Blood Donation Camps in the Slums andbackward areas.

6. Oursociety plans to educate the peoplesecially ladies of weaker sections living in Slum areas. We provide Books, Stationary, clothes, shoes,school bags and night lamps in these areas free of cost.

7. It also organizes Yoga and Pranayam’s classes,Seminars and workshops on several Social and Spiritual issues entirely free of cost.
